Our Story
Welcome To L&W
“Starting in the 70s as a single room and kitchen off the back of the Texaco gas station, it has evolved over the years into a plant filled, glass roofed comfy restaurant with a heated patio for the summertime. Gus himself is the epitome of the hardworking immigrant whose face was always poking out of the kitchen as his wife Joanne worked the front end.
The L&W Restaurant has for years served us as a place for that special meal that does not require fancy dress or long waits for your food. Simple food can sometimes get over complicated but done right, as in the case of the L&W, it is perfection. In short, the L&W gives value for money in nice surroundings with no pretensions. Gus and Joanne have been doing it that way for a long time.”
